Nehemiah Project [PROJECT HAS BEEN COMPLETED]

Nehemiah Project is the name given to this years Ministry Center improvement/restoration effort. The name comes from the book of Nehemiah which chronicles the prophet Nehemiah's mission of rebuilding/restoring the city wall. God enebled/anounted Nehemiah through the Holy Spirit to lead the people of God, build and restore the city wall. He completed the assigned task in only 52 days. This was a miraculous accomplishment!

We (the Church of God ministers and members), began 2009 with 21 days of prayer and fasting. Our focus for these 21 days was to pray for a "Nehemiah Anointing," to a accomplish God's purpose for this year.

• The Plan: God gave Nehemiah a strategic plan to accomplish the task at hand. God has also given us a strategic plan.

The Plan: Rebuild, Refurbish and Renew designated areas of the Ministry Center Grounds.
1. Rebuild the staff bath house
2. Remodel staff housing facilities
3. Renew the pool to health code standards
4. Refurbish parking lot (seal and stripe)
5. Remodel existing guest house and establish
"The Nehemiah House" to be used for VIP housing
6. Purchase new mattresses to health code standards

Schedule: The work will begin in March of 2009 and continue through June of 2009. Throughout the project we will need the following skilled laborers:
1. Plumbers
2. Electricians
3. Carpenters

Focus: A strategic portion of the plan is Work Week, June 1-5, 2009. During this week we need handy men and women and general laborers.
1. Clean Up
2. Yard Work
3. Cosmetics
4. Painting

• Partnerships: God Gave Nehemiah a host of significant partnerships with people, ordinary people. (See Nehemiah 3).

• Provision: God supernaturally provided for Nehemiah to meet the needs of the project.
